Fundraising for project presentation in Mexico

The AFRA MODA is a team of five EARTH university students who want to make clothes from coconut fiber. We would like to present this project in Mexico this coming June in Hult Prize competition. The Hult Prize is a prestigious social entrepreneurship competition that brings together innovative minds from around the world to address global challenges. Through our year-long competition, over 100,000 young people in 120 countries work to create high-impact startups that address the annual challenge in alignment with the UN's Sustainable Development Goals. Finalists pitch their businesses to a panel of expert judges, and the winning team receives $1M USD in funding to make their idea a reality.

The 2023 Challenge is "Redesigning Fashion" (Launch an innovative social venture in the clothing and fashion industry to make it more sustainable), and our team has developed an innovative solution that we believe can make a real impact. We are thrilled to be one of the top 700 startups to have moved on from the Hult Prize Quarterfinals, which means that our startup has already demonstrated exceptional potential and promise. We need money for travel, food, and accommodation from Costa Rica to Mexico and your assistance in this journey will be highly appreciated. We will need this money by 31 May for timely preparation.
