Identity VerifiedMy husband has been undergoing treatment for a few months now because he has been unable to walk properly. His legs feel weak, and he's having difficulty standing for long periods. He was very active - played local basketball for most of his life. At first, the doctor thought it was some issue with his back. And then the findings came out the other day - spinal cord edema. The neurosurgeon said it needed to be removed immediately to prevent further damage (where he could be permanently disabled). We're told to prepare at least Php500K for the surgery. I'm the only one working now, and we have no savings. We are not rich or well-off. We get by. So, I don't know how to pool the money for this surgery. I am humbly appealing to everyone's kindness and help us in these tough times. Any amount will be a big help. Our family will be forever grateful.
