Help us restore and protect the rainforest in Krista’s memory

Hello everyone,

My name is Krista Roth, and I am a passionate environmentalist who loves the rainforest. I dedicated my life to preserving its beauty and diversity and educating others about its importance. Sadly, I passed away in 2019, but my legacy lives on through Krista’s Rainforest Sanctuary, a conservation and education project in the Monteverde Cloud Forest of Costa Rica.

The Monteverde Cloud Forest is one of the most biodiverse places on Earth, home to thousands of species of plants and animals, many of them endangered or endemic. It is also a vital source of water, oxygen, and climate regulation for the region and the planet. However, this precious ecosystem is threatened by deforestation, climate change, and human activities.

That’s why Krista’s Rainforest Sanctuary is seeking not only to reforest areas once made barren by local farming practices but also to provide a place to educate future generations on the importance of the rainforest. We have already planted over 10,000 trees in our 50-acre property, creating a habitat for wildlife and a carbon sink for the atmosphere. We have also built a visitor center, where we offer guided tours, workshops, and interactive exhibits to teach children and adults about the rainforest.

But we need your help to continue our work. Would you help us, in honor of Krista’s memory, support not only the planting of more trees but tend to their care until they are mature enough to thrive on their own?
