Help me fund my baby’s eyelid surgery for BPES syndrome

My name is Ricardo Basurto, and I’m a father from Torreon Coahuila, Mexico. I have a rare genetic disease called BPES syndrome, which affects the development of the eyelids, vision, and eye muscles. Unfortunately, the disease is hereditary and my beautiful baby girl, who was born on May 13th this year, has the same syndrome in a severe form.

Because of the rarity of this disease, the surgical options are very limited and the only chance to give my baby a better quality of life is a surgery in Malaga, Spain with Dr. Ramon Medel, who is practically the only specialist in the world for this syndrome. The cost of the surgery is around 16,000 dollars, not including the flight and accommodation expenses, but it is the only opportunity to give my baby a happy life and avoid a lot of suffering and self-esteem issues that we people who were born with this disease face. Her mother and I are doing everything we can to raise the money for the expenses, but we would appreciate it from the bottom of our hearts if you could help us give a bright future to our daughter.
