Creative space for kids, youth in underserved community

Hello!

My name is Tommy and I live with my family in Ogbomoso, Nigeria.

Recently, we set out to begin a creative excellence initiative to both teach people to create, and to imbibe a culture of excellence while doing so, as a means to foster development in the community. We also want to create a meeting point for children and young adults to have access to and experience a kind of beauty that is otherwise not readily available to them. Ultimately, the goal is to reach people that will recreate this beauty wherever they go from here.

There are several arms to this which include arts, tech, and music. Under music, we hope to build a free music resource center as well as practice room for the kids.

We need the funds quite urgently and they would be used for the following things:

Power: solar panels and inverter N970,000

Musical instruments: 3 pianos, 3 violins, 2 cellos, a drumset, 2 guitars, music stands, microphones, books and other resources N800,000

painting and beautification: N400,000

Furniture: N350,000

Tv screens: N300,000

cooling system: N350,000

We also want to set up a little playground which will cost around N800,000-1,000,000

We are working to get registered as an NGO and work is underway to get that done. The estimate for that is N65,000 -150,000

We have secured the space as seen in the picture for a year. We hope to make payment for the second year within the next month so that construction work outside can be completed. The rent is N300,000.

Total: N4,335,000 - 4,620,000 ($5,858 - $6,243)

I know that this breakdown is way beyond the set limit. However, these are the needs and any support would be appreciated and accounted for.
