I want to build a camping area for the cocoa party

Dear Sacred Cocoa family,

Through this letter, A´x Mein: Guardian, Grandfather, and Mayan Priest Efrén Hernández Maldonado, I want to inform you that every year, for more than 100 years, during the month of November the Cocoa Festival is held in the Sagrado Cacaotal belonging to my family for more than 10 generations. These festivities are held to thank Sacred Cocoa and Mother Earth for their blessings. And they are made in an ancestral way according to the Mayan tradition, which I represent.

These ceremonies have been open to the Sacred Cocoa community around the world for four years. Last year, 2022, we received more than 200 sisters and brothers who received communion with the call of the Sacred Cocoa. Although in our small farm, Grano de Oro de Miahuatlán, we can host some of you, and many others are hosted by families from the Miahuatlán community, last year was insufficient to accommodate so many beings who with love and respect come to participate in the Fiestas del Cacao and the teachings that are part of said celebration.

That is why, through this platform, I approach your heart and your goodness, requesting that you help us gather enough resources to build a camping area on the farm grounds. Said project requires an area that protects at least 300 people from the elements, with dry toilets, showers, and a feeding area.

Last year we provisionally built a couple of bathrooms and showers that have not been able to stand up due to inclement weather, rain, and wind. That is why it is required that the camping area be built by construction professionals and with materials that ensure its operation for years.

This space will serve to receive the sisters and brothers who care for Cocoa in Mexico, the world, and all the people who feel the call of Sacred Cocoa to heal their hearts and share their experiences.

It is essential to mention that following the teachings and traditions of the Grandmothers and Grandmothers, there is no charge for sharing the wisdom about the Sacred Cacao and its medicine. And all those who attend the Cocoa Festival are fed during their stay. In the same way, our Sacred Cocoa Plantation receives visitors throughout the year, since the Cocoa Festivals are not the only ceremonies that take place during the year. And both the Grano de Oro Farm and the Sacred Cocoa Plantation receive everyone who comes in search of the love and wisdom of the Sacred Cocoa.

Therefore, the facilities built with the resources collected, will serve to receive those who are guided to this place by the Sacred Medicine throughout the year.

Every year, we receive more than a thousand people, including groups of students from universities and scientific institutions interested in the ancestral management of cocoa cultivation and care.

The Grano de Oro Hacienda and the Sacred Cacao Plantation are located in the Miahuatlán region, in Tabasco, Mexico. A tropical climate zone in our country makes it necessary to have facilities according to said climate.

Dear Sacred Cocoa family, I hope to have your support in this first project, aimed at building the camping area that allows us to accommodate in a humane and comfortable way those who year after year feel the call of Sacred Cocoa and wish to receive the teachings. and ancestral knowledge of the Mayan tradition, inherited from my person from generation to generation for more than 10 generations of Priests, Guardians, Grandparents, and Caregivers of the Sacred Caco and Traditional Mayan Medicine.

I am sure that the further and more people this project reaches, we will be able to get the goal, which is not limited to the 1,500 USD that this platform initially sets as a goal, since to build the camping area we require at least 15,000 USD.
