My name is Enrique Herrera, I'm from Mexico and I'm 19 years old, and today I come here to request your help. My biological parents passed away when I was just a baby, so my aunt decided to take care of me and because of that she became my mom, whom I love with all my being. At the beginning of the year, my mother, whose name is Fernanda Herrera, began to present pain in her left breast, to which an aunt suggested that she have a mammogram, however, she refused because it had happened to her before and she had not presented anything. bad, in addition, she argued that the pain was intermittent, since it appeared and disappeared frequently. Time passed, and approximately in the middle of June, the pain began to appear in both breasts and this time it was much stronger than the previous ones, so she finally decided to go for a mammogram at a clinic located in the state of Campeche.

After performing the corresponding tests, the doctor gave us the terrible news that she had Stage III breast cancer in both breasts and that it has begun to spread to the areas near them, for what was important to start treatment immediately, however, we have not been able to raise the necessary amount for this and so that she can continue taking it until she recovers. This news seriously affected my mother, who is a cheerful and very lively person, because she says that if she leaves, there will be no one to take care of us.

We are a family with limited resources and we subsist on the cultivation of various vegetables and the rearing of chickens and turkeys. The total cost of my mom's treatment is $190,000, however, with the support of my family and some friends, we have managed to raise approximately $30,000. I have been doing small jobs in the community, just like my brother, however, it will be impossible for us to raise the above mentioned amount in time.

So today I am here before you to request your help, because my mom is the most important thing for me and my brothers and the truth is I wouldn't know how to move on without her. I hope with all my heart that you can help me, my mother and the rest of my family to be able to get ahead in this situation.
