I am Sharm, the niece of our Aunt Carmelita. Our aunt has always been a pillar of strength and kindness in our lives. Despite the hardships she has faced, she has never hesitated to lend a helping hand to others in need. We live in the Philippines. We come before you today with heavy hearts and a sense of urgency as we launch the "Restoring Hope" campaign for our beloved aunt who is bravely fighting Cardiovascular Disease (CVD) Infarct, Hypertension Stage 3, and Diabetes Mellitus II. Additionally, we aim to alleviate the burden of a lingering bank loan from her Covid-19 treatment last 2021. While she conquered the virus, thank God, the financial repercussions of the loan have persisted, making her current situation even more precarious as these have added mental stress and anxiety to her.
