Cebu Pink Paddlers Dragon Boat Team is the only breast cancer survivor dragon boat team in the Philippines to date. They are from Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu, Philippines. They started paddling in 2017 to increase awareness on early detection of breast cancer and to show that there is life after the diagnosis.
Cebu Pink Paddlers had participated in various races both locally and internationally, winning several awards and recognition. Behind the successful journey of Cebu Pink Paddlers are the challenges and expenses they faced as they pursue their passion and advocacy. That is why I am reaching out to you for support as they journey towards the USA to participate in the dragon boat races in Los Angeles on October 7, 2023 and in Herderson, Nevada on Oct 14-15, 2023.
Your support will not only help them mitigate their expenses like air fare and accommodation during the trip but also help them spread their message of hope and empowerment to other breast cancer survivors and their families.
