Hello everyone,

LA CALLE ES NUESTRA Festival: for culture and non-violence.

Our festival was born as a proposal so that the young people of Comuna 3 in Medellín can take to the streets to do and share culture, and thus leave an everyday context in which art, education and sport can be overshadowed by factors of violence, poverty and the needs of the commune. The Festival exists so that these elements stop being overshadowed and that the streets are a safe territory so that children and young people can live a high-level cultural experience and also be the protagonists.

The Festival is created by the group La Yerba Bendita, with the aim of generating a space so that the artists of the territory can show all their talent. In the previous version we had a stage on which young emerging artists from the commune, music schools, dance schools and professional level artists shared their talent and messages, promoting culture and non-violence within the territory.

This year we want this space to grow and more young people to be impacted. In addition, attendees who are able will be asked to donate food for dogs and cats that will be donated to different foundations and animal shelters.

With your contribution we can make this festival high impact and with all the quality standards so that both artists and spectators live a unique experience.

If you help us, we can acquire the goods and services necessary for this festival artistic work is carried out and even support the work of the invited artists.

In addition, it is planned to invest in a dissemination plan so that young artists can grow their audience and that donations of food for animals are massive. , since the goal is to reach 400 kilograms and thus help many homeless dogs and kittens.

It should be noted that entry to the festival will always be free and open to all attendees.
