Raise fund to build a shelter for strayed cats and dogs

Hi I'm Danie. I live in Pathum Thani; a province near Bangkok, Thailand.

In every province of Thailand, there are many stray dogs and cats in various places. There are many animal lovers in Thailand. But it is not enough for these animals that are increasing in number all the time.

Dog and cat lovers brought food to feed them. In order to prevent these animals from starvation, there are a number of people who have enough funds helping dogs and cats to raise and treat them and seeking their forever home changing their lives from homeless animals to better life.

However, Thailand is not a rich country. Even though some people love animals But most animal lovers are unable to adopt them due to many factors, such as cost of living in a house with many people, a cramped house, and people with allergies in the house. There is no place to raise them. Some neighbor doesn't like cats and dogs and having problems with neighbors. Living in a small apartment is not allowed to have pets or their cost of living is too high to support their own expenses.

Because of the cost of raising dogs and cats such as pet food costs, cat litter, vaccination costs, and sterilization. Most importantly, if dogs and cats are sick, the cost of treatment sometimes goes very high. For this reason, there are a limited number of people who can adopt stray dogs and cats.

I have been taking care of stray dogs and cats for over ten years. With personal money by selling personal things and being hired from variouse jobs. Pet food expenses per month cost me about $1000.00. I adopted 30 strayed cats and most of the time they have infectious diseases. I take them to get vaccinated and treat all diseases. The cost per one cat is about $300 and expenses throughout of their life more than $5,000.

Even some cats and dogs got serious disease that they would die. We also treat them as much as possible. Couldn't let them die in misery.

Since Covid pandamic in the past 2 years, there are more stray dogs and cats on streets. People have lost their jobs, their businesses have been closed, their savings are barely enough for living. So many people are abandon their pets.

I have taken on more and more of these burdens. From the amount of food that was sent to these animals in various places, it used to be enough for 1 meal for 1 animal. It turns out that there are more divisors. Each one received less food. While these animals are diseased we need to choose to help the one who is in worse case first.

In this increasing number of animals There were quite a few who ran to find food on the streets and were hit by cars. Some did not die, but were maimed. Many cats were bitten by local dogs, injured, dead, and maimed. I have a strong wish. To help these animals as much as I can. There is an intention to have a place. To accommodate a larger quantity of animals to raise, at least 200-300. (Currently there are about 50 of them).

Need a certain amount of capital to rent a place or house with an area to adopt these animals. It may have to be a suburban house to prevent disturbances and problems with neighbors. If the rental location does not have enough space You may have to rent 2 houses.

At this time, I still helping sick animals who need help. They always have accidents, but the problem is that when they get better, we have no place to continue raising them. Some must return to their original place and find their own food from garbage.

Therefore, I would like to ask for your help in terms of funds for renting a place to keep stray animals, food costs, cat litter costs, vaccination costs, medical expenses, and sterilization.

These are real picture from raising animals from different places per day. There is a picture of a dog injuired from a crazy man who hit his mouth broken by a knife. The cost for treatment was about $500.

Another case, a roaster jumped off from a transport truck about to take him to killed and was hit by a car and his leg was broken. I brought to the exotic animal hospital about a month and paid $600. In the end, the roaster got infected and passed away. But I think that at least I would prolong his life without suffering. and passed away peacefully.
