My name is Fernanda Bendezú Ballabeni, and I am delighted to inform you that I have been accepted into the Acting for Camera program at AMDA (The American Musical and Dramatic Academy) in New York City. This opportunity is a priceless gift that life has bestowed upon me, and it is the realization of my unwavering dedication and passion for the arts.

Allow me to share a bit about myself. I am twenty years old and hail from Lima, Peru. From a young age, I discovered my love for acting—a passion that has been my constant companion and has evolved into my deepest aspiration and life purpose. In my country, pursuing a career in the arts still faces significant challenges: prejudices and lack of support for artists are persistent obstacles that hinder the realization of our dreams.

My audition at AMDA was a pivotal moment in my life. It was more than just an audition; it validated years of dedication and hard work. Being accepted into this prestigious program opened a world of possibilities and learning opportunities for me. AMDA is not just an educational institution, it is a place where I can nurture my creativity, refine my skills, and become the best version of myself.

Despite having received a partial scholarship; I am still confronted with a substantial financial challenge. The total cost of my studies and accommodation amounts to US$ 67,360. I still need to gather a considerable sum to meet the necessary payments, specifically US$ 19,500 by November 30th.

Together with my family, we have organized various fundraising activities to cover the initial costs of tuition and additional paperwork, which have already been taken care of. Despite our efforts, we find ourselves still lacking a considerable amount. Hence, I turn to you, compassionate and generous individuals, seeking support. Each small contribution brings me one step closer to the dream of becoming an actress and making a difference in the world through art.

I see myself as a dedicated, hardworking, optimistic, and persistent individual. I am currently employed full-time at Starbucks Peru, a job that I love and value because it has allowed me to "dream big dreams". My commitment to my personal, professional, and social growth is unshakeable. I am immensely grateful for the unwavering support that the company has given me, as it motivates me to always keep moving forward and reach my goals, no matter how difficult the journey may be.
