We are the Takelead Children Pathway Foundation (TCPF), a dedicated team of passionate individuals committed to empowering underprivileged children and young adults by providing access to quality education, healthcare, nutrition, and holistic development opportunities, fostering a future of hope and possibilities.

We are based in Wuse 2, AMAC Local Government, FCT-Abuja, Nigeria, where we have identified a pressing need at L.E.A Nursery and Primary School Kapwa, Lugbe District, AMAC. FCT- Abuja, a local public school that lacks essential infrastructure for proper education.

We need your help to transform the lives of eager young minds at L.E.A Nursery and Primary School Kapwa.

In this small corner of this community, there lies a beacon of hope – a half-finished school block that holds the promise of a brighter future for our children. As we write to you today, we stand at the cusp of a dream unfulfilled, a dream that can only come to life with your generosity and compassion.

The Current Situation:

Imagine classrooms with roofs overhead but no doors to shield against the elements, no lights to brighten the path to knowledge, and no proper floors where little feet can tread with confidence. Picture a scene where chairs are scarce, and students perch on rocks or wobbly, broken chairs without desks to steady their learning journey. Walls without whiteboards, floors covered in sand – this is the reality of education at L.E.A Kapwa Block 2.

The Urgent Need:

The need is pressing, the urgency palpable. Completing this school block isn't just about constructing walls; it's about building dreams, fostering hope, and empowering our community's future leaders. Every child deserves a conducive environment for learning – a space where their potential can flourish, where their curiosity is nurtured, and where their aspirations are nurtured.

Goal:

1. Complete Construction: Finish the construction of three classrooms (Year 1 - Year 3) with doors, proper flooring, lighting, and ceiling.

2. Furnish Classrooms: Provide essential furniture, including desks and chairs, ensuring students have comfortable and stable seating arrangements conducive to learning.

3. Install Whiteboards: Equip each classroom with whiteboards to facilitate interactive and engaging teaching methods.

4. Enhance Safety: Implement safety measures such as secure doors and proper lighting, creating a secure learning environment.

5. Create a Positive Learning Space: Ensure the school block is aesthetically pleasing and welcoming, fostering a positive atmosphere for both students and teachers.

How Funds Will Be Utilized:

Construction Materials: Funds will be allocated to purchase high-quality construction materials to complete the classrooms, ensuring durability and longevity.

Furniture: We will invest in sturdy desks and chairs, providing ergonomic seating for students, conducive to focused learning.

Lighting and Electrical Work: Funds will be used to install proper lighting fixtures and set up the necessary electrical connections for classrooms.

Whiteboards and Educational Tools: Money will be used to acquire whiteboards and other educational tools to enhance interactive teaching methods.

Safety Measures: A portion of the funds will be dedicated to implementing safety measures, including secure doors, cemented walkway and proper lighting for the entire school block.

Aesthetic Enhancements: We will allocate funds to create an engaging and vibrant learning environment, including painting, artwork, and other aesthetic enhancements.

Regular updates will be provided to our donors, showcasing the progress made and how their contributions are making a tangible impact on the school block's completion.
