Let's offer a festive banquet to 100 indigent seniors in Bertoua

Hello, we are a group of volunteers called Love Homes. We assist elderly people with nutrition and health in the town of Bertoua and its surrounding areas. Bertoua is the capital of the Eastern Cameroon region.

The condition of seniors in our locality is deplorable to the extent that these elderly people worked very hard in their youth for low income without access to medical care. In their old age, they are dependent, and their care is very costly for their offspring who cannot take care of themselves. The senior is therefore abandoned and stigmatized because he is accused of many scourges such as witchcraft because of his ever-increasing complaints and requests.

We want to restore dignity to the elderly by meeting their basic needs to allow them to spend their final years with an acceptable level of development.

We will use the funds collected to offer food kits, nutritional supplements, and a hearty meal during a banquet organized for them.
