Work Practice Opportunity Abroad for Student

Hello everyone,

My name is Erika Jiménez, I am a student studying Finance and International Trade at a public university in Colombia. I am turning to this medium to achieve my dream of accessing a great academic, personal, and professional opportunity. I applied for a call to be able to do my internship abroad and I was selected to work for six months in Warsaw, Poland in the first half of 2024. When I received the news I felt very happy and proud because I have never had the opportunity to leave my country and it seemed as if all the effort made during my academic life was giving results, however, unfortunately, this work internship is not remunerated so if I want to access it, my family and I must assume all the costs, including housing, food, visa, winter clothing, transportation, international medical insurance, among others, that is everything.

I have stood out all my life for being a dedicated and disciplined student. I have received different recognitions for my academic performance, including having the best GPA at my university. This internship represents an unparalleled opportunity for my future, both professionally and personally. It would allow me to develop and maximize my skills, acquire new knowledge, and interact with outstanding professionals in my career, I feel that if I can access this practice, I would have a greater possibility of improving my resume and thus acquiring a respectable job when I return that allows me to give a better quality of work. life to my family in the future.

My family and I are doing everything possible to raise funds, we have carried out different activities such as raffles, yet the money required to be able to live in a European country for six months is enough for an average Colombian family. My parents have supported me a lot, but they are worried about all the money that is required, that is why I decided to resort to this medium, I know that many people could kindly give me a little help to achieve this great goal and be able to face all the costs. I know that I can achieve remarkable things and represent my university and my country very well abroad.
