❤️On December 24th, Athena was scared by the fireworks and, while trying to hide, she got stuck, resulting in a fracture on the side of her hip. Concerned for her well-being, I immediately took her to an emergency veterinary hospital, where tests and x-rays were performed that confirmed the injury. That day, Athena was admitted due to the intense pain she was experiencing. The uncertainty was something that kept me very affected when I discovered that there was no orthopedist on-call available, which meant I had to wait until the 25th to obtain information about his status. Three options were presented: 1. A surgical intervention to correct the fracture, 2. Recovery through rest and careful care over time, 3. The painful decision to end his suffering.

Finally, on the 25th I received the good news that Athena would recover with time and proper rest. However, the medical care required is beyond my financial means. Furthermore, in the next month, more tests must be carried out. With sincerity and a heavy heart, I am writing to you for your help.
