A house for Manimegalai and Soundararajan

If you are reading this, you probably know me, or maybe, with a little luck, this story traveled through many contacts until it reached you and you are about to discover what I want to share with you.

I'm Maggie, I'm married to a wonderful person who, as fate would have it, is from India. Maybe you know him, his name is Thyagu. We have been together for more than 6 years. During all this time I have had the joy of getting to know another culture, delicious food and kind-hearted people in India.

Thyagu has lived in Mexico for just over 5 years, during this time he has lived far away from his family, his mother (Manimegalai) and his father (Soundararajan), loving and big-hearted parents. India is more than 15,000 km away from Mexico, which does not make it easy for Thyagu to help his parents with the constant moves they face every year.

The main reason why I took the The decision to start this campaign is because while moving can be annoying, Thyagu's mother (who is the sweetest and kindest person I know) has struggled with diabetes and hypertension for much of her life. Unfortunately, diabetes has taken its toll and her mother's eyesight has been severely affected. In addition to this, it has been difficult to get to the doctors' visits since sometimes the houses they find are far from the hospitals.

After thinking about this idea a lot, I decided to try to give Thyagu and their parents a little peace of mind by providing them with help so that they can have a house of their own.

The idea of this campaign is to contribute a grain of sand towards a house for Thyagu's parents, in this way they will have a stable and safe home in India. In exchange for your help, whenever you ask me, I will offer you a cup of tea :)
