I dream of good vision

Hello everyone!

My name is Andrey, I’m 19 years old, I live in the small town of Kropyvnytskyi, located in the center of Ukraine. I love video games, sports, exploring abandoned buildings from the times of the USSR, whiskey and animals (I have four cats that I picked up from the street) I have always dreamed of serving in the army, and more specifically in the special operations forces. Now I'm studying at a driving school, because the commander of the battalion in which I want to serve needs a driver. But there is one more problem. I have astigmatism and low myopia, as a result my vision is around -2 diopters. I didn’t tell the battalion commander about this, otherwise I might have had problems, but I bought the health certificate required for the driving school. Perhaps they would have taken me into the army even if they had found out about my vision problems; times are difficult now and we are not looking for people who are ready to join the army. But I want to play it safe and don’t want to expose my future colleagues because I might not notice the danger in time. It also causes me a lot of inconvenience in everyday life. I need money to go to another city, Dnepropetrovsk, where I will have laser vision correction surgery. I recently lost my job where I wanted to work part-time until I joined the army, almost all my savings went to study at a driving school, and my mother cannot give me such a large sum for the operation. Therefore, I ask everyone who can to help me save up for this very important operation for me. I’m not sure, of course, that this collection will bring any results, there are many people in the world who need help much more than me, but as they say, hope dies last.
