HELP FOR THE HUNI KUIN TRIBE

My name is Emilio Orozco from Guatemala.

I am a father of a 5 year old kid. Me and my wife are owners of a natural shop in Antigua Guatemala. We work for ourselves in our own shop.

I met indigenous tribe in Brazil

A few months ago. I had the opportunity to meet and work with a group of very special people.

They are an Amazonian Kaxinawa indigenous tribe of the Humaita River from the San Vicente village of the Tarauca municipality of the state of Acre in Brazil. It is a community of approximately 22 families with 140 people.

They need help to complete various community projects

From our conversation, i garps that they need help.

Nilson Tuwe, the chief of the tribe, seeks financial support for his people to complete various community projects such as the culmination of the construction of a Kupixawa (maloca) that would function as a school and ceremonial and cultural center.

They will also finish an artisanal well to have drinking water.

How the money will be use

The money collected will be sent to the chief of the tribe to carry out the projects mentioned above.

We are looking to raise funds promptly to continue with new projects before August 2020.
