Dear friends,

My name is Raúl Gamboni Silva, 52 years old from Chile.

My son Felipe is a patient at the Chilean Hippotherapy Foundation where I was asked to please start a crowdfunding campaign to help raise money to deal with the COVID19 crisis.

Chilean Hippotherapy

Since 1992 the Chilean Hippotherapy Foundation has been doing a beautiful job to rehabilitate our little heroes.

The foundation rehabilitates children and adults with various disabilities and with few resources

They need support to get pass through COVID-19 crisis

Today it is not possible to open the activity, since the contagion of COVID 19 must be avoided.

This brought about a serious crisis for the institution, which runs the risk of closing its doors definitively since it does not have financing. It is worth noting the kinesiologists, veterinarians and psychologists who will not collect their respective salaries. Different is the case of the groomer, people in charge of the care of the horses, to whom it is necessary to pay their wages.

As far as there are little more than 25 horses that work with patients, children and adults.

Usage of the funds

The Chilean Hippotherapy Foundation needs financial support to face the COVID crisis19 since it does not have the resources to feed the horses or pay the wages of its citizens.

Since they are in the quarantine and do not receive public financing, they have no resources to cover the expenses for feeding their horses and the wages of their keepers

The collected funds will be used for help to pay for the caretakers of the horses and to buy grass for their food.

Our professionals agreed not to receive remuneration during this period to show solidarity with the Foundation.

For this reason we ask for a solidarity collaboration.
