Book for a child

Hello! My name is Andrey Gaydabrus and I represent the Integrated Psychological Assistance public organization. The organization’s work is concentrated in the eastern regions of Ukraine and we help those people, who have suffered from violence and torture.

The strongest support for these people is their families and often, there are small children.

Since the begining of quarantine, contacts have been limited into a family. And how to tell the child about the rules of hygiene, to cheer him up. Often, parents focus on the physical survival of themselves and their children. Particularly relevant is the issue of preventing the spread of diseases that arise after quarantine is canceled - it is necessary to convey information to children clearly and to interest them in the implementation of sanitary-hygienic measures of COV19 prevention. This task is solved by an instruction developed by WHO and a book embodied in a fascinating children's story, accompanied by colorful drawings.

Over the past year, our organization has been helping about 200 families whose members suffered from violence and torture. Many families have children, and often, children are 5-12 years old. We decided to print 100 copies of this wonderful book for free transfer to family data. In the coming weeks, we want to raise funds for the implementation of this project.

We found a printing company that kindly agreed to print 100 copies of a full-color book for about 5000 UAH. We undertake to send these books to the region by courier delivery to families, which will require about 4000 UAH. For families who live in the city of Kharkov - our volunteers will deliver a gift copy for free.
