I'm Débora Millán, I am 23 years old, I am Venezuelan and I live in Buenos Aires, Argentina with my boyfriend,

Due to the emergency situation due to the covid-19 I was unemployed and cannot make a stable income.

My mother and younger sister left Venezuela and move to Colombia

The reason to go to this platform is to help my mother, María Millán (46 years old), and my little sisters, Luisana (10 years old) and Laura (9 years old) they are currently living in Bogotá, Colombia,

Since my mother still does not have a work permit, she is a domestic worker and she barely has enough for food, so I pay her rent from here, my mother got some food thanks to food subsidies from the Colombian government.

Since they left Venezuela last year (July 2019), I have always paid their room rent, but since March I have not been able to pay off the rent debt due to the covid-19

Help me to pay off my mother rent debt

Since the end of February my boyfriend and I had employment problems and I couldn't pay my mother the rent fees, because we could only cover our expenses in Argentina. After that came the quarantine preventive, I lost my job and I could not continue paying the rental fee

Since March I have not been able to pay off the rent debt, which already goes for almost a million Colombian pesos (3 months) or approximately the same as US $400.

On several occasions the owner of the apartment has threatened to kick her out, but thank God she has not.

The amount I am asking for is to pay off my mother rent debt and to have her some spare so she can eat.

The goal is to be able to collect the money this May so that the debt does not continue to increase, once it is raised it will be sent in its entirety to the owner of the department by Western Union since my mother does not have a passport to send it to her.
