From a very young age I was a little chubby, after the death of my parents the situation became more critical, since my only consolation was in food, that is, in a short time I gained my highest weight - 189 kg. Metabolically, my blood glucose and blood pressure increased, and as an active woman, I began to feel bad, and taking the medicine, I did not want to leave home or see my family or friends because I did not have clothes for wearing. I could barely walk, my legs were weak due to the heavy weight that they had to carry.

Once my little daughter, who is only 8 years old, made me shudder. I found that she was crying in her room. When I asked her what happened, she cried to me because she didn’t want me to take her to school and her friends to see me because they were laughing at me. Because her mother is a hippo ... It was difficult, I never thought that with my obesity I would harm others and those I love more than anything ... It made me react and try to get help, I started to do exercises, I began to eat right, but there was little use, because my metabolism was very slow.

Once in the middle of the day I fell out of the chair because of my heavy weight, lay on the ground and could not get up. Full of shame, I called for help, and God listened to me. In addition to rising from the ground, I managed to find a bariatric surgeon in a hospital in the capital, who was interested in my case and operated on me for free, since I did not have the financial means to pay for the operation. Sofia's dream began to come true in February 2015, when I got the Gastric By Pass. And that was the solution for weight control and my health problems. After a long journey and a goal, I am currently achieving my ideal weight, 70 kilograms. I managed to lose 115 kilograms, I am a healthy woman, with great dynamism, I go in for sports, eat healthy food, and, above all, my daughter feels happy and proud of my actions.

After 5 years of surgery, I have to go back to the operating room, but this time undergo reconstructive surgery and, thus, remove all excess skin from 115 kilograms that I remove from my body. This type of operation is very expensive in my country and I cannot cover these costs. Now my dream, together with my daughter’s dream, to be able to perform this operation, so I appeal to the hearts of good people who can understand what it feels like to be fat!
