Save Children of Malapascua from Hunger

Hello! I am Edwin Angeles. A small businessman in Manila and Cebu. I have built a Foundation that allows me to be a relevant to society and encourages others to join me in a noble mission. I have helped together with my team numerous communities and institutions such as Aetas Community, abandoned Senior Citizens, Children battling cancers, Victims of Taal Volcano eruption and many more. We have helped various public hospitals also to equip Frontliners with Personal Protective Equipments. All these credit to our group coming out from our pockets and concerned citizens. This Pandemic allows me to introspect, difficult times indeed. I told myself I am still fortunate, not missing meals, able to feed my children as I look the positive side of it.

One time my feet directed me to go to Sitio of Malapascua, I cannot understand that I need to go there, probably I needed a breathing room, four corners of our home every minute, hour and everyday is enough for me to change gear a bit, boredom is killing me.

Honestly, do not know why need to go there instead at the bayside. Then I have discovered different sides of life in Malapascua, was able to talk to people, now I understand that my contemplation is enough for me to say I am grateful enough on what this life has given me. Now, I understand life better and it feels like need to do something as I witnessed the pain of the people while struggling to survive in this very challenging times. What breaks my heart is seeing the children in hunger, no food and worst of all NO MILK to drink. You could see the suffering of these beautiful and innocent angels, I feel it and something needs to be done. I bought 5 pouches of Milk immediately and gave to a mother, I could feel the happiness she cried and told me I was able to save her child’s life.

It touched my heart and touched my life. Now, I am doing this again and will do more.
