Fundraising for carcinoma for Miriam Peña

Greetings to everyone who is here today.

My name is Miriam Da Costa Gómez Peña, and I am requesting help to raise funds for my mom, MIRIAM PEÑA COLMENARES.

This is the 2nd time that I need to go to this instance to request financial support, but this time to help cover my mother's current health expenses.

I will briefly explain:

In 2021, she was diagnosed with 2 meningiomas, which is why she underwent radiotherapy treatment (25 sessions, to be more exact), this being the 1st time that this means of crowdfunding was used to be able to pay them. The 1st campaign was very successful, and today I reiterate my thanks to all those who accompanied us and supported us at that time.

After finishing the radio, she was improving in the first 3 months, but then his health returned to get worse quickly.

In view of all this (persistent pain in his face on the right side, right eye strabismus, difficulty chewing and swallowing, etc.) she underwent paraclinical tests again and then After several months of study, she is diagnosed with ADENOID CYSTIC CARCINOMA OF THE MAXILLARY ANTHRUM. It is determined that on this occasion, chemotherapy treatments will be started, initially 1 cycle of 6 sessions, every 3 weeks.

Treatment is started the 2nd week of February 2022.

Between the 2nd and 3rd chemotherapy sessions, chest and abdominal-pelvic tomography scans are performed, and liver lesions corresponding to metastases are observed.

Currently the corresponding clinical diagnosis is :

ST IV ADENOID CYSTIC CARCINOMA OF THE ANTHRUM MAXILLARY (Hepatic).

On May 18, the 1st cycle of chemotherapy will end, and after that all the respective tests must be repeated to verify its status health and determine the new oncology plan to follow.

My request for help is aimed at raising funds for these tests, since several studies must be carried out, which are detailed in the attached medical report.
