Help the animal shelter survive the war!

Good afternoon!

We are residents of the city of Zaporozhye, in Ukraine.

Now a war is going on in our country, the genocide of the Ukrainian people by Russia. For 12 days already, our people and our army have been heroically defending their independence and their land.

At such a difficult moment in our lives, we want to remind and urge not to forget about the smaller brothers. Animals are abandoned and the most vulnerable.

There are caring people in our city who organize shelters and take care of the abandoned, homeless, wounded animals. 

One of these shelters is the Chance shelter. The shelter lives on donations and has a minimum number of staff.

Chance is a temporary shelter for dogs in need of treatment (Zaporozhye). There are more than 150 dogs in volunteer care, and each of them has a difficult history and a lot of pain experienced: betrayal, hunger, injuries, viruses, diseases.

In the early days of the war, the shelter faced a shortage of animal feed. The initiative group organized the purchase of more than 380 kg of food and delivery to the shelter by our forces. Over $500 was collected per day, which allowed us to provide dogs with food for 7 days.

Now we are again planning to organize the purchase and delivery of dog food at the shelter. They need us now more than ever.
