A kidney for Moisés, help him get a transplant!

Hi everyone!

My name is Andrés Maldonado. I am a Venezuelan resident in the city of Quilmes, Argentina since 3 years ago.

Moisés Augusto Mendoza Sánchez, a young doctor of 29 years needs your help to fulfill his dreams.

Our very dear Moisés

Moisés and I studied medicine together at Barquisimeto Venezuela, a city where we were both born. I emigrated before finishing my degree and I came to Argentina where I am now studying medicine again, studying the fifth (5) year. Moisés graduated as a doctor a year ago and emigrated to Russia where he lives in the city of Moscow with his partner.

We have almost 10 years of friendship. This is the photo of my wedding in December 2016.

Moisés he had lost his kidney since childhood

He was diagnosed with Hydronephrosis (fluid in his left kidney) when he was very small, just 18 months old. This was a such situation that led him to lose his kidney, so they performed a total Nephrectomy (organ resection).

At ten years old, he was diagnosed with chronic renal failure. His right kidney became ill and he lost its function progressively. Since then, he has been under treatment for the disease and the hypertension that it entails (with ramipril, statins, vessel-due, allopurinol, potassium citrate).

Moisés, who is now in Russia, needs help

While he was in Russia, he began to feel great discomfort, muscular pain, tachycardia and weakness. He underwent his routine exams and the results were very altered. So he consulted and started his hemodialysis treatment.

For years he has waited for this moment and this moment has come, a chronic kidney disease in its terminal stage that requires hemodialysis treatment to continue living.

Let's help him get a kidney transplant

He has already started the treatment, and his condition have improved significantly. He is now stable and much better. But he will continue with his dreams of practicing medicine and leading a healthy and normal life, for which he needs a kidney transplant.
