Reasons why I love New York

Hello! My name is Marcel Benedete Marques, but please call me Marcel! I'm from Sao Paulo, Brazil and my dream is to visit New Year during Christmas time.

Since I was a child I always loved foreign cultures and countries. I really enjoy making foreign friends and studying other languages. But the place I want to visit the most, over all the places in the world is New York City, dream that was originated thanks to the influence of American TV shows.

Then, I would like to ask for assistance on travel expenses to go to New York.

I would like to get lost in the streets of New York and visit all the places where TV shows like Gossip Girl and other were made (like Manhattan, Queens, or Brooklyn).

I want to go to Broadway, enjoy a musical, drink coffee in cozy coffee shops, live the New York night, climb the Statue of Liberty, get amazed by skyscrapers, practice my English talking to native people, live New York’s New Year… There are many things I want to do!

My daily life

Currently I am studying Pharmaceutical Sciences at University. I do not have time to do part-time because I'm really busy with my studies. Fortunately, the government is provideding me a scholarship for continuing my studies. I am really busy every day, but it is very fulfilling. Howevery, when I have time, I think about traveling and where I will go next.

I need a total amount of $ 2,500 and it will be used is as described below.

Schedule

After achieving the target amount, I will reserve my flight ticket. Since I have already prepared a passport, I apply for a US tourist visa, and when everything is ready, I reserve an accomodation. In the meantime, I will adjust the schedule of my trip so that I can be able to see all the spots I want to see in New York.
