I'd like to help my sister to undergo eye surgery!

Nice to meet you! My name is Fidelis Enemuo and I live in Anambra state, Nigeria!

I'm raising funds for my sister, as she needs eye surgery. I hope you can support us!

My sister could get blind

My sister is 21 years old, and her eyes problem is a congenital disease.

Around 15 years ago we noticed that a white spot was growing inside her eye. It grew little by little until we took my sister to the doctor. He said that she might loose the eye.

It seems that she needs laser surgery to heal.

A lot of troubles when studying

My sister is really sensitive to light, due to this problem.

She is studying in a vocational school, and she has to stare at a computer screen a lot.

She's feeling a lot of pain during lessons, and there isn't a way to avoid it, just quit school, but we don't want to.

Economic situation in the family

We lost our dad a few years ago.

In fact, I'm the one who is paying for all our expenses, working as engineer. My salary is not bad, but I need to support my family, so I don't have much left.

I need to pay for the rent, the school tuition, the utilities...

I'm very happy helping my family, but it is taking more time that I imagined to save enough money for my sister's surgery. I already saved $1,500, but this surgery is really expensive.

Details on needed funds

I would like to raise at least $1,000 more for the surgery of my sister. I will appreciate your help from the bottom of my heart!

Schedule

If we can collect enough funds we will pay the surgery as soon as we can.

The stain on my sister's eye is getting bigger, so it has to be within a year.

It's impossible to make this surgery in my city, so we would need to travel to another city where hospitals have the necessary equipment!
