I WANT TO SAVE THE LIFE OF METEORO, HE IS HOSPITALIZED

Meteoro is a 6-year-old French bulldog who currently lives in Lima, Peru.

At the end of May he had an infection in his left eye, as a result of which he had to undergo surgery for the first time. a keratitis, an operation that was unnecessary because they had to do another procedure. In this clinic they gave us the news that the puppy would lose his vision and in a second control they told us that he would lose his eye. We wanted to have a second opinion prior to the eye extraction operation and luckily in another clinic specialized in veterinary ophthalmology they gave us a completely different diagnosis from the one we had, and they told us that the eye did not need to be removed and that even vision could recover it . Then, surgery was scheduled to reconstruct the membrane affected by the explosion of the eye ulcer.

Unfortunately, after this operation, Meteoro did not react well to anesthesia and vomited and had diarrhea. After a few hours we were able to take him home but in conditions where Meteor was quite affected.

At around 8 pm, the puppy began to vomit a lot of blood and we decided to take him to the clinic in an emergency. veterinary where he is currently hospitalized. He is hospitalized because his organs are not reacting adequately after a second operation, since we have to consider that he is already undergoing second anesthesia, medications and negligence in the environment at the first vet who treated him.

We have been in the process of care, interventions, exams and medications for several weeks and it is now that we need help to continue paying for your recovery. The diagnosis is reserved but there is much optimism that Meteor will be able to run soon, that is why today we have to continue making every human effort possible in order to save it.
