Food for Cusco - Ausangate Project

Food for Cusco provides food, clothing and other essential items to Peruvian families in need during the coronavirus crisis. For the last several months we have been providing weekly donations to families in Cusco. Now, we would like to expand our project to families living in outlying communities. In many of these small villages, the families depend heavily on tourism. Many of them work as porters, guides or in sales with tour agencies. Others earn their living selling textiles and other products to tourists that pass through or stay in their communities. The tourism industry has been one of the hardest hit by the coronavirus and we do not expect to see the first signs of recovery until May 2021. With your help, we can expand our program to these communities. Whether you donate $1 or $100 or you simply share our project with your friends and family, everything helps.
