Helping my mama to beat cancer in a pandemic

Hello everyone,

My mom is an exemplary, charismatic person who has always stood out for struggling hard in the face of adversity, not giving up and facing everything that life has brought her with a smile.

She is the grandmother of two little kids one of it is my sister's son whom she takes care of most of the time and who loves with all her heart. She is 51 years old and lives in Marikina City together with my Uncle and my sister.

Mama's first diagnosis April 26, 2020

A few months ago her life changed completely when she began to feel bad, she is a housewife since she has dedicated her life to raising her children and grandson, for which she does not have insurance or help of any kind. But she has the support of her family who loves her very much and they fight for her.

On April 26, 2020 she was being diagnosed with CAP MR; PLEURAL EFFUSION PROBABLY MALIGNANT. She had her SWAB test for COVID19 and luckily the result is negative, she also undergo on pigtail catheter insertion (April 27, 2020) and they remove the tube and being discharged last May 8,2020 due of our family cannot afford the expenses incurred in the hospital.

Mama's second diagnosis May 19, 2020

On May 19, 2020 she was being diagnosed POSITIVE FOR MALIGNANT CELLS CONSISTENT WITH ADENOCARCINOMA.

June 1, 2020 she had her first check up and her doctor requested the patient to be confined again because she need to have the pigtail insertion again to drain the remaining water in her lungs. And her doctor also endorse her to another doctor for consultation on her Cancer.

Below are following prescriptions, tests and recommendation given by her doctor.

Mama's current condition

Mama was discharged on June 9, 2020. She still have the tube with her lungs and they cannot remove it because the cancer still produced water that cause so much pain and she cannot breath because of that.

Please help my mama to fight this battle

Due to the global situation my sister was suspended from her job, So clearly she does not receive a monthly salary and I do not have a stable job, being impossible to continue making payments such as house rent.
