BEING ARTISTIC, RECYCLING, REINVENTING, ENRICHING DECORATION FROM MANNEQUINS AND WOODEN SHOE MOLDS

I am Patrícia Noronha. I currently live in Buenos Aires. I am a creative craftswoman and manufacturer of pedal looms.

My previous jobs in recycling arts

I have been part of the Santelmo Fair for 4 years. I have a fixed job and I make woven fabrics artworks combined with different materials in antiques or modern frames.

By displaying my artworks with recycled and restored frames, I found them as beautiful as these

The idea of ​​the recycled artworks of mannequins

I had a idea to develop a recycled artworks from used/recycled mannequin. The idea is to recycle, busts, parts or entire bodies of mannequin which are in good condition, and to fix and to make lights, bottle holders, displays, and everything else from broken parts of mannequins.

Help me make this idea a reality for Portugal

I want to develop this project in Coimbra, Portugal. But despite of the location, this project will put Nature as something of utmost importance. It aim to recycle disposable objects into worthy decorative objects of any environment.

Why do I need your support?

The parts are purchased at auctions, and I need your support to buy everything else like paints and car putty for fixing a very worn or broken parts. I will also need used wooden shoe molds.

The works are divided into parts such as cleaning, sanding, putty, drawing and painting. Varies from who paints, the finish is always surprising.
