Need your support to help needy people of remote villages IN

Hello Sir/Madams,

I am Lala Saha, 30 years old. I am a Ph.D. researcher from New Delhi, India.

I use to visit the remote place of Himalayan regions and presently to visit the Jharkhand states of India for collecting and documenting primary field data regarding the cultural practices and livelihood options of the various rural community for the project.

Every month I am vising those places for collecting the preliminary data, where I visit the house to house and conduct interviews, meetings, and formal discussions to gather every bit of their activities and cultural practices.

During this period, I meet many people in different villages who help me during my survey/documentation and share their good and bad story which developed into a friendly relationship with them.

When people share their stories and problems, I try to help them in every way, giving them suggestions, solutions, sometimes provide them cloths, food items, and a little amount of financial help also. From my travel allowance (TA), daily allowance (DA), and monthly allowance, I manage some amount in each trip and support them. They are also very friendly and help me during the study. On each trip, we help at least 15 to 20 needy people from one village.

Their difficulty during COVID-19 lockdown

In the last three months, many people from the village are asking us for help. There is a number of new people return back to the villages from the various parts of countries due to the ongoing COVID19 lockdown.

Many people are losing their small business, jobs, and sitting in their homes, waiting for the normal situation.

Even I am not getting my allowance in regular time intervals these days. In this situation, I am trying to help the maximum number of needy people.

Help them to survive

To help everyone, the expenditure will be around 18,000 to 20,000 rupees each month and at least for the next four months. So, the total cost will be approximately 80,000 thousand Indian rupees.

In this collected amount, we will provide them the home necessary and other essential products to sustain in the challenging period. I will try to help maximum to the maximum number of households.

I require a healthy amount of money to help them during the crisis. Even 1 USD contribution is enough for a family for a day.

I am helping them in every month from my side. Kindly come forward and donate for the noble cause.
