Nice to meet you! My name is Shaqfat Haroon and I'm from Nowshera, Pakistan. My dream is to study a Master degree in Mechanical Engineering in England and find a job that allows me to design environment friendly equipments.
I am currently teaching maths at school. My salary is around $ 300 per month which is not enough to afford an student life in the UK.
I was really interested in creating equipments that don't affect to the environment, so I studied Mechanical Engineering at university. However, in Pakistan is difficult to find a job as engineer. Also, if you want to learn more about mechanical engineering, there is no school to learn in detail. The opportunities for growth are very small.
So I would like to get more knowledge about mechanical engineering in Birmingham University in the UK, upgrade my skills and get my master's degree!
At school, I took classes in English what helped me to achieve a business level in English. Also, I also learned a lot about culture and history.
Also, a relative who is living in UK since many years ago told me many stories and facts about the country, and I could learn from him how nice is British people and how beautiful is their country.
It would be great if I could get a job in such beautiful country and get a new life there!
I would need a total of $ 12,700 as school tuition and accommodation expenses for the first year. During the first year, I will make use of the support money, but in the second year I will try to manage to afford the expenses by myself!
I want to start studying from spring semester of next year. When I have the money to pay the school tuition I will send it to the University and they will help me to get my student visa.
If I can successfully achieve my Masters degree I would like to work in the UK designing equipments like turbine ventilators, windmills, etc., and to live permanently in the UK!
