I am a nursing student whose mother was recently diagnosed with stage 2 cancer of the breasts. Currently, the only people in my family who are employed are my father and my youngest sister, the third daughter of my family of five.
My family needs some financial assistance for Mom's Oncotype Dx test
My mom was recently diagnosed in August 2020 with stage 2 cancer of the breast.
My family needs some financial assistance for the Oncotype Dx test which amounts to $4,500 and is only payable by cash and not through Medisave or any insurance.
Currently, my mom has to stop working post-surgery, my dad and sister earns a low wage, myself a student hence the bill is a burden for us to bear at this point in time.
