Help me to fulfill my dream of continuing to help !!!

My name is Martha Alvarez, I am 41 years old, and I live at Somoto, a small city in the north of Nicaragua with 30 thousand inhabitants

for approximately 20 years I worked supporting young peasant and indigenous entrepreneurs

My journey

First, as a Social Worker, although I had to change jobs due to cancer and took the opportunity to study communication.

Three years ago I was out of work, but I have tried to continue supporting entrepreneurs in my city by supporting them with graphic design and training, and through my website :

however, with the crisis of the pandemic, very few entrepreneurs can pay for someone to support them with their social networks and photography

So I decided to dedicate myself to my other passion, cooking desserts, specifically national desserts that very few people make anymore.

A plan to continue supporting entrepreneurs

I live in a small town in the North of Nicaragua called Somoto, and in "normal" times it is very visited by national and international tourists, so I believe that it is an exchange space where desserts and dishes can be trained, produced, and sold. Nicaraguan tradition would be a success. I would like to do two things ...

1. Have a stable income that allows me to continue supporting entrepreneurs in the area and 2. Have a physical place to do activities such as training, fairs, conferences, and exhibitions.

How to accomplish that, I need some steps. First I need to buy tools, equipment, and supplies, because with my savings I have been able to buy some basic tools (such as a kitchen, a refrigerator, and a blender), however by not having larger equipment, and money to buy supplies in bulk only I can make a small number of desserts (a cake tray, or a cookie tray)

Second: Enable a space in my house where I can, in addition to having my kitchen, have a large space to train other people, both in typical dishes (currently only prepared by some women in the area), or in marketing and communication issues for other entrepreneurs (my other passion).

Third: Open a cafe where I offer my desserts, but also where I can sell the products made, above all, by artisan women in my city and who cannot open their own stores for financial reasons.

Currently, I have produced some typical desserts such as buñuelos, marquesote, perrereque, yuca cake ...

Help me to accomplish my plan

I have been unemployed for three years, and with the passage of time my savings have diminished, I have looked for a job, but because of my age they no longer hire me and the banks do not give me loans because I do not have a job. My family supports me 100%, but I want something from me and my daughter, and if I can help other women in the process that would be wonderful.

It is planned that for December we will have a greater influx of visitors, and I would like to be prepared

I already have some things, such as a kitchen, an oven, and a refrigerator ... but I lack the capital to buy supplies and be able to produce at a lower price, wit your help, I will really appreciate it!
