I want to set up a service of health care at home!

Nice to meet you! My name is Geicker Ortiz and I'm living in Caracas, Venezuela!

I'm running this project because I would like to receive some financial support to be able to carry out an idea: a service that provides health in the comfort of your home!

Health care environment in Venezuela

My wife is working in a hospital as a nurse, so I know firsthand the problems of health care in my country.

Many people here haven't health insurance, and medical treatments are extremely expensive for most of the people. Moreover, it's necessary to wait to receive a treatment or medical attention, even for months. Also, hospitals are running out of medicines.

That's why I think that my business idea is helpful and good for my country.

I want to offer medical attention at home at a lower price, accessible for everyone, especially for disabled people and elderly.

I just need financial support

My service name is "Brinda Salud".

This name means "Give health". My wife, that is a nurse, is also my partner in this business. We already have all necessary documentation, but without financial support we can't move on.

Collecting the necessary financial support is being really hard so far.

We're not finding investors and banks in my country don't grant loans because of the financial crisis. We also have 2 children and we need to take care of them and pay for all daily expenses, so we barely saved $400.

Venezuela's economic situation

Salaries in my country are really low. Official sources say that the average is around $45, but many people say that the real quantity is quite lower.

There are many people who do not have health insurance and can not pay medical expenses. I would like to reduce the medical expenses as much as possible. We plan to offer small-scale medical services such as vaccination and intravenous administration of the medication.

Details on needed funds

Basically we need financial assitance to be able to get the necessary equipments and a cheap car. To implement a business a lot of capital is needed, but we would start to make our dream come true if we can raise $1,000. Thank you very much!
