i want to build shelter for stray cats in medan

Hi everyone, my name is andi and currently living in medan, indonesia!

I am really aware of my environtment’s surrounding here in medan, which many stary cats that abandon, while i am myself is a cat lover!

Many stray cats abandon near my place

As a cat lover, i always try my best to help them even by only feeding them. I am and my wife adopt and took care a cat since on our relationship begin. Many cats that always came to my place that asking for a food, but poorly, they still so skinny and it was beyond our help to took them to the veteranian since it will cost us a lot.

At medan, i found that was about 20 cats that abandon and living in street without any help. I often saw cat too that died because car hit them. Just yesterday, i saw a kitten that born premature and died. I want to help them to make them a shelter, so they can live peacefully

my plan ahead

At medan, there was a petshop called pussy petshop. Long time ago, they took care of stay cat. But currently, that activities is stopped.

It is a sad things that i only able to give them some foods to them. At my parents hometown, they also help cats as they can, now my parents adopt 2 stray cats and took care of them. I want to help the stay cats near the place i lived especially, so they will have a better place to live.

I planned to make a cat shelter at tanjung morawa, since that place have cheap rental and also still fresh. I also have a veteranian friend, i will contact him to do cooperation if this project going well!

Details on needed funds

There are about 20 stray cats around my place, i will use the funds to rent a space for 1 year and all cats necessities such as cat food, grooming things, and hire manpower. the total i need is about $2000, i will use $500 for the urgent things such as medicine or operation fee from my own saving. i hope you can help me with the rest!

Schedule

I set the finished date for the end of the year, because i think it will take bit long time to gather total fund. If it gathered, i will directly use that for renting a space at tanjung morawa and starting gather the stray cat to put in there.

If it doesn’t meet the target, i will keep continue as i always did to help them, and continue to saving until it reach my target.
