I need a computer to work online and be able to support my dad!

Hello! My name is Veronica and I'm living in Makati, Philippines.

I'm trying to raise some funds because I need a computer to be able to work online and support my dad!

My father had a heart attack and he is still recovering

My dad is 70 years old. One year ago he suffered a heart attack.

Due to the heart attack he is still suffering and his health condition is not good. He needs to take his medication to reduce his blood pressure and different vitamins every month.

He can't work so I need to pay for his treatment.

The problem is that I'm not working full time and my monthly income is quite low. However, I've found a job online as English teacher that could help me increase my monthly income. The problem is that I need a computer to do it.

It's difficult to find a good job in my country

Currently I'm working a few days a week as house keeper, and I get around $100.

I've tried to find another kind of job, full time, but it's really difficult here in my country. I've this solution, to work as online teacher!

I studied English at college, so I'm capable of teaching it.

If I work as online teacher and I keep working a few hours in my current job I would be able to increase my salary enough to afford my dad's medication!

If I get a computer I will be able to support my dad!

Maybe, I could ask for funds for my dad's medication here in Airtripp Funding.

However, I think that to get a computer is a better solution, as it's not a one-time solution. I really need a computer to support my dad in a long term, but I'm using my savings for paying the daily expenses, so I can barely save.

My mom passed away a long time ago, and my siblings are supporting their own families, so in general they can't collaborate with this plan.

Details on needed funds

I just need some funds to be able to purchase a computer and pay the internet connection for a while. I believe that with $700 would be enough. I would really appreciate your support!

Schedule

If I can get enough support, I will get a computer around January of 2019.

With a computer, I will be able to start working as online teacher, and as soon as I can increase my monthly income I will be able to support my dad and get him everything he needs. If I can get enough support I just can keep waiting and saving as much as I can.
