Help me get a new house for my mum!

Nice to meet you! My name is Gihan and I'm from Sri Lanka!

Our current house is in very bad condition, and I need some help to be able to move to another place!

I'm sending half of my salary to my mum

I'm working as a freelance photographer and I get $120 per month.

Every month I try to send to my mum half of my salary. She is still living in our old house, which is really dangerous during rainy season, so I would like to help her find a new home.

Since I suffer from a heart disease I can't work as much as I would like, and when my condition gets worse I can't support my mum.

My dad passed away when I was a baby

My dad lost his life when I was 3 months old.

My mum took care of me alone, and she did a huge effort to do it. I just want to give back to her everything she did for me in the past.

She was working as a teacher, but she is already retired.

The only way she can afford daily expenses is with my help, but due to my heart condition I'm not able to work many hours in a row. On 2016 I also had to go under surgery to implant a pacemaker in my heart.

When my health condition gets worse I can't support my mum

I would like my mum to move to another house before next rainy season.

When I'm not strong enough I can't work, which means that I don't have any income to support my mum. We really need some help.

I barely could save $200, and that's not enough to help my mum get another house.

Details on needed funds

In order to get a new house and receive some help for my mum's daily life expenses I would need $800. I would really appreciate your support!

Schedule

If I can get enough support I will give all the amount to my mum.

If possible, I would like to receive it by January. In case I don't receive enough support I will have to think about other alternatives (loan, asking friends, etc).
