Assist me on my Journey as I seek funding for med school.

Hello everyone,

My name is Maryam Oke and I currently volunteer as a medical assistant at a local private hospital in my community. I choose to study medicine because it offers such a mix where I can integrate my interests and apply them in a very practical profession.

My dream is to become a doctor and make a positive impact.

I want a career where I can reach out to a large range of people, be challenged to leave my comfort zone and to make a positive difference in the lives of people by helping them to alleviate their pain and suffering as well as help people overcome diseases and mental barriers so that they can achieve the highest quality of life. Also, by pursuing my dreams, I can help change the present condition of my family and provide a means to elevate my family's living standards.

My call for a $40,000 tuition assistance at St.George's University School of Medicine in Grenada

Over the years, my dream has been getting harder to reach due to my family's financial situation. For years, I've been hoping to get into med school on a full scholarship. Last year, I got lucky and was accepted to St.George's University School of Medicine in Grenada without a full scholarship. I can't afford it and I don't wanna lose this opportunity.

You are my last resort, I need your support

Life's been hard and this might be my only shot at ever becoming a doctor and truly making a difference. I have exhausted all of my options (reached out to family, friends, applied to several scholarships and reached out to the school's financial aid office but so far my efforts have been futile) .

This is my last resort, please I am in desperate need of financial support (about $40,000 for my first year tuition). It'd really mean a lot to my family and I if my call for assistance would be heard and considered.

Helping me achieve my dream will greatly change the living conditions of both me and my family and will potentially save a lot of lives in the future if I successfully become a doctor.
