Dear friends,

My name is Sharon Revoldela, 37 years old, married with 3 children.

We have a typical Filipino family where in the father works to provide for his family's needs and the wife cares for the children at home.

We don't have much, and barely making ends meet, but has always been thankful for every blessing that God gives us.

Elijah got Leukimia

Last July, my son Elijah, 6 years old, was taken to the hospital due to a sudden loss of weight, appetite and vomiting. The doctor recommended taking Elijah to the Philippine Children's Medical Center (PCMC) where there are specialists who can further diagnose his condition.

During his confinement and after numerous tests, the doctors at PCMC confirmed that my son has T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia with mass lesion in his left lung.

A life trial for us

My husband was forced to take a leave of absence from work to take care of my son while undergoing chemotherapy.

the Doctors said the treatment may possibly run for 2-3 years. With each month of chemotherapy costing Php 84,460.00 and no salary coming in for us.

My husband and I are at a complete loss as to how to move forward. My husband works in the Call Center, but forced to stopped due to our current situation.

Please help us

Elijah is a brave boy he is responding positively with his medication. I need to be braver no matter how challenging it is.
