I raise funds to be able to film my thesis short film.

I raise money to be able to shoot this short film, which is the thesis of my career. To be able to pay for production expenses such as food for the crew and actors, location, transportation, among others. And with the hope that with the remaining money I can also make an economic contribution to the dancers who have so kindly collaborated with me to make this project, and that in these difficult times due to the pandemic have not been able to work.

I would like to be able to make visible the importance of the work of all these artists in society in times like these so difficult in which we resort to art as a form of liberation and search for entertainment.

The project began with the need to satiate the emotional and aesthetic obsessions regarding classical dance that could not conclude either in past projects or in my personal life. And what began with the desire to turn a choreography into a cinematographic experience, became an avalanche of ideas, thoughts, intuitions, readings, and reflections that seek to be manifested in some way in an audiovisual context. The images that generate all this do not stop appearing wherever I look and manifest themselves in whatever I am working on. 

The day when death is a portrait of everything that is going on in my mind today; what seem to be unconnected themes unify in my brain as a choral structure: My relationship with objects and nature, my thoughts on death and the metaphysical, my learning about symbolism, my interest in philosophy, my sensory exploration with dance, music and other artistic media, and my never-ending conflict with narrative. But it is mainly a quest in which I try to approach the transcendental, in which I seek to find my point of view regarding what happens before or after by questioning what happens in the now, questioning my agnosticism in general.
