"Battling for Extrapulmonary TB Lymphadenitis"

We created this fund raising campaign out of love for a family member- our beloved daughter Allaine Demylle Xyrra, who is currently battling a rare case of extra pulmonary form of TB Lymph Adenitis since October (2018) which caused overgrowth of lymph nodes precisely on her neck. Lots of tests were done, several doctors were consulted in the vicinity and we were advised to refer our daughter in the metro city since her case requires more advanced and meticulous tests that are not available in town.

 Allaine, or known by many as Cecy, is almost at her last year of Civil Engineering course. She is a bright lady with many hopes and dreams. In order to do so, she desires to recuperate from this battle to accomplish such aspirations. 

However, there came a point amidst her battle that she almost lost this bright ray of faith; about May last month and after finishing a month-long set of chemo meds intended to cure her illness, she was rushed to the hospital after experiencing severe heart palpitations, and alongside, the lump located at her neck grew in just a blink of an eye. By then, the doctors have become perplexed at her uncommon case and therefore bid the family to go through another series of tests which are not offered in this little province. Our daughter is also suspected to be highly drug resistant- that’s why we couldn’t afford to dissipate time as we need to uncover the root cause of bacteria manifesting inside her body and the cure needed for her to finally be well. In order to do this, the last resort of our medical practitioners is for her to undergo surgery immediately to remove the lymph nodes.

This was the first biopsy in MMMH (Mariano Marcos Memorial Hospital) in Batac City, Ilocos Norte.

The Doctor tested her for sensitivity and coulture and other bloodtest which came out negative. 

      After that, it got extremely worst

This is the second biopsy last April, 2019

And tested again for bloodtest and etc.

We are funding Php.100,000 for the operation and the specimen that will be send out to Manila, Philippines. 

So far, the 100,000 is not enough because after the operation there will be a lot of medicines to buy and will still be continuing her meds  whatever it is the outcome of the Histopath in Manila. 

The scheduled medical surgery is projected to happen this coming 3rd of November, 2019.

Hence we are knocking to everyone’s compassionate hearts to help this amazing lady get back to her feet. Her crusade towards her healing and recovery not only requires earnest care but also comprises a great deal of expense (for the series of more advanced examinations and laboratory tests, medical and consultation expenses) which candidly our family could never afford in the first place.
