A trip to shoot a social documentary in Karubaga city, Papua!

My name is Ari and I'm from Depok, Indonesia!

I would like to raise some funds to be able to travel to Papua (Indonesia) and visit again the friends I made there in the past!

The first time I visited Papua, it was for work

A while ago, I had the wonderful experience of visiting Papua and a city named Karubaga and spend around 3 months there.

It was for work, so I really hadn't time to visit around. But I was able to meet a lot of local people and they became my friends.

I really want to return to this amazing corner of my own country and see all my friends again.

I want to share all my experience

People in Karubaga have a very interesting way of living.

You can barely see a car, there are many places with no electricity, they basically live in the jungle.

The local people is really nice and kind, and I want to share their goodness to the world.

That's why if I'm able to travel there again, I will shoot many videos and create a documentary to share this amazing lifestyle with everyone!

For me, it's really difficult to save money

I'm a volunteer of Greenpeace Indonesia since 3 years ago.

I'm really concern about the environment and I comitted to my mission of protecting our Earth.

I get what is necessary to live everyday, but I can't save money. That's why I'm asking for some help to make my dream come true!

Details on needed funds

I would like to raise $1,025 to be able to get a flight ticket and afford all the travelling expenses.

Schedule

If I manage to collect enough funds I will travel to Karubaga.

My plan is to visit all the people I met the last time and record all my experience to show the culture and the way of living of the local people in the future.

In case I can't collect enough founds I will figure out how to save some more money. I know is going to be hard, but I won't give up. I really hope that you want also to be a part of this experience and help me to reach my dream! Thank you very much in advance!
