Neglected Puppy Care

Hello everyone,

It's for a neglected puppy I rescued. He is only 3 to 4 months old. He was ran over by a motorcycle a week ago and the owner didn't even try to help him.

His hip is swelling and there's also a big wound where a cracked bone is showing. He also has severe mange.

I started feeding him every night since then and the owner would always look at me funny.

The day I rescued him

On that day, I found him hiding inside our gate. It might have been to hot for him outside and his small weak body couldn't take it. I gave him food and water but that's all I can do since he has an owner.

A few minutes after he left, I heard him screaming. 5 kids riding one bicycle ran over this poor puppy's neck. I ran after the boys and screamed at them. The puppy's owner didn't care at all.

I couldn't take it anymore so I took the dog and the owner gave him up easily.

I want to keep him alive

I need to have him checked immediately but these are trying times and the vet bill might probably be bigger than I can handle on my own. I want to keep him alive. We didn't even name him yet.;
