My name is Bryan (CEO), logistics management technologist and software developer. I live in Cali - Colombia passionate about logistics and technology, with the purpose of undertaking and finally leaving a legacy to my family and community.
As commercial support of the initiative is Jennifer Hincapié Salcedo Technologist in International Mecha and Business (CMO). We are the team that works to accomplish the mission.
For about 1 year they have been working on a company project called BORLS (Boré Logistic & Supply Chain Solutions). It is a project that offers solutions for the industrial segment and smart cities from a software model as a service (ScuS), supported mainly by technologies such as the Internet of Things by its acronym in English IoT, Big Data, and Artificial Intelligence (Machine Learning). This proposal seeks to virtualize physical environments through nodes or sensors that emit data in a minimum time interval and low latency; This facilitates the identification of needs and / or monitoring of signals with the management and analysis of data in real time, thus contributing to a timely and efficient decision making.
Process automation is another of the opportunities that are sought to take advantage of thanks to the characteristics of Lora modulation and LoraWAN protocol, this being the IoT technologies that will be implemented to support the different solutions in BORLS.
BORLS, is in the stage of prototyping a long range and low energy consumption network based on Lora modulation and LoRaWAN protocol, this being the technologies that will be implemented to support the following solutions:
1. Smart Cargo: allows you to efficiently and intelligently manage cargo transport operations from a perspective of total visibility and omnichannel.
2. Smart Utility Meter: Facilitates the monitoring and control of consumption of aqueduct, energy and gas in real time.
3. Smart Cold Chain: Optimize the temperature and humidity control in the cold chain in real time of restaurants, retail, transport and industry.
It has definitely been a great journey to fulfill this dream, among which research and development, as well as the economic factor. At the moment, unfortunately, I do not have the financial resources to acquire the necessary equipment and start with the design of the infrastructure which is not standard, on the contrary it varies according to the environment.
With your valuable help I can buy the basic equipment to design and start with the relevant tests, so I can define the correct parameters of the system and take another step towards the conquest of this great dream.
