Help Poor people, difabel and elderly for reasonable life

Hello everyone, i am Sofyanto from Indonesia.

I am the mentor of the Morobayat Social Welfare Institution.

I am here wants to improve our community and intend to empower them through productive business activities, namely making products that are based on pineapple leaves.

About Morobayat Social Welfare Institution.

We are Morobayat Social Welfare Institution located at Muntoi Timur Village, Kec. Passi Barat Regency Bolaang Mongondow North Sulawesi, Indonesia.

Our society institution are already have legal entity and has been accredited by the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs. This institution was established in August 2018 with the focus of its activities being to alleviate social welfare problems.

Since then, we also have several activities that has benefit to the community and its surrounding.

About Morobayat Social Welfare activities

During our journey since 2018, there was a lot activities that we already done.

One of them is to help the poor, disabled and productive elderly people so that they can have an income so that they can live properly and fairly.

We also did data collection and distribution of health card for Indonesian poor families, distribution of Home Care programs of the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs in the form of health care for elderly people and several others.

To improving the quality life of poor people, elderly and diffable, we would like to train them with meaningful activities that can help them to improving their quality of live.

For this reason, we intend to empower them through productive business activities, namely making products that are based on pineapple leaves.

In Bolaang Mongondow Regency, it is the only pineapple-producing center in North Sulawesi Province so that most of the people job are became pineapple farmers.

So far, pineapple leaves are only a waste that is not utilized, so that this has an economic opportunity to be able to help the welfare of the poor, the disabled and the productive elderly.

By that idea, we would like to make new innovation and use the waste and transform it to became better product. But unfortunately, we do not yet have the financial capacity to buy tools to support these productive business activities.

The funds needed reach $4,300

The device referred to is a loom and pineapple leaf fiber separator machine. The price of the two devices is around Rp. 60 million. For this reason, through this opportunity, with all humility, we ask for your help,

Schedule

There will be an exhibition on the anniversary of Bolaang Mongondow Regency on March 23. So we need to prepare the product we make at least on January.

This exhibition will be the best solution, where the products from pineapple leaves will be widely known by the community so that the continuous production process is expected to be carried out by the Morobayat Social Welfare Institution.
