PROVIDE FOOD FOR COVID AFFECTED FAMILIES IN BIHAR, INDIA

Hello everyone,

These are unprecedented times – the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic is causing more disruption across India than the first wave, viciously attacking right now when Indians are trying to recoup, recover and rebuild. The worst-hit are the poor– reeling from the pandemic’s attack – struggling to fight disease, deprivation and death.

THE ACUTE SITUATION

Heart-rending scenes are unfolding in the hospitals as low-income daily-wage poor families are struggling to cope with the loss of their beloved ones on one hand, and fighting for survival, unable to find square meals a day as their livelihoods take a hit, on the other.

Please help us so we can provide food to the: 1000 marginalized families of COVID-19 patients who have travelled from remote corners of Bihar to public hospitals across state’s capital Patna, who are struggling for a square meal a day, unable to afford or even avail food during the lockdown.
